I had an issue with scanning which seems to have been resolved but now when i try and print, I have no option to select double sided printing - how can this just disappear and how do I get it back?  Thank you

Most common cause is that the printer driver no longer things that there is a duplex unit installed.

On your PC go to control panel>devices and printer and right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the device settings tab and scroll down till you see the "duplex unit" entry and if change to installed if it does not show that.
