Product: HP ENVY 4525 All-in-One Printer

Hi there,

 

Unfortunately, my MacBook M1 cannot connect to the HP ENVY 4525 inkjet printer. I haven't had that kind of connection issue before. Since I have no problem connecting and printing from my iPhone, it must be an ussue between the computer and printer. Of course, I've restarted the printer, Mac, wireless router, reconnected the printer to the router, etc... but nothing seems to work.

 

My system: Mac OS 14.2.1

 

Any help is very much appreciated.

Good news - the problem was solved by uninstalling HP Smart and HP Easy Start, and everything is working perfectly again. Now, my system is running the default Mac printer driver without any HP apps installed.
