INSTALLED NEW COLOR CARTRIDGE, DID ALIGNMENT AND CARTRIDGE CLEANING, PRINTING QUALITY IS GREAT EXCEPT MISSING CYAN, BOTH LIGHT AND DARK. BLACK, RED, AND YELLOW ARE ALL WORKING FINE. NO OTHER ISSUES, HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT FOR PAST YEAR, HAVE CHANGED CARTRIDGES BEFORE WITH NO PROBLEM. SO NOT SURE WHY THIS IS HAPPENING NOW, AM LOOKING FOR WAYS TO RESOLVE PROBLEM. THANKS.

I am happy to have someone reply about this problem. I did try another cartridge and nothing changed, although also from same package delivery with same date on them. In case you weren't aware the three colors (red, yellow, cyan) are all in one cartridge. these HP cartridges are not cheap, and the order was 4 combo packs of black with color in each box, to get at least some deal. I've done the alignments(although on machine says unsuccessful, on HP Smart says successful, and on page printed looks fine). I've done print head cleaning a few times as rec, still no change. I find this all frustrating as this just began when I changed the print cartridge on 2/7/20, and the warranty just expired on 1/31/20. I've changed cartridges before and never had any problems. Hope there is a solution to this dilemma, that isn't too costly. Thanks for your help.

I ALSO SHOULD ADD THAT ITS PRINTING IN BOTH RED AND YELLOW FROM COLOR CARTRIDGE, ALONG WITH BLACK FROM BLACK CARTRIDGE, JUST NO CYAN. WHICH MAKES IT EVEN MORE CONFUSING SINCE ALL 3 COLORS (RED, YELLOW, CYAN) COME FROM THE SAME CARTRIDGE!!! THIS PRINTER IS JUST A YEAR AND FEW DAYS OLD, ONLY HP PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN USED, AND REPLACED AN HP PRINTER WE HAD FOR 10 YEARS. WONDER IF QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP IS GOING DOWN?

This is a hardware issue. I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team and ask for a replacement since the Printer just got out of warranty.
