I also have this issue 0X83C0000A on my officejet4632. I have tried trouble shooting, but one problem is I cannot remove the ink cartridges as they are locked in the right position. I immediately get that error when turning on my printer so am unable to make any other changes. HELP please!

Hi @SW12,
A warm welcome to HP Community!
It sounds like the printer carriage is jammed. Manually moving the carriage, removing/re-installing the ink cartridges and power resetting the printer may clear the carriage jam . Instructions on how to resolve a carriage jam can be found here.
Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for joining the HP Community
Check if the carriage is moving freely. if not try to move the carriage manually.
If the carriage is moving freely follow the below instruction.
I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Refer to this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-envy-4500-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5304875/model/5368521/... for carriage jam.
Keep me posted, how it goes!
