Hi @Raajboy,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the EWS (Embedded Web Server) admin password for your HP DeskJet 3630 printer, you generally have a couple of options. Unfortunately, there is no direct method to reset just the EWS password through the printer interface. Here’s what you can try:

1. Reset Printer to Factory Settings

Resetting the printer to factory settings will reset the EWS password to the default. However, this will also erase all other settings (such as Wi-Fi configurations).

Steps:

  1. Power On the Printer.
  2. Access the Printer's Control Panel:
    • Navigate to Setup (the gear icon).
  3. Select Network Setup.
  4. Choose Restore Network Defaults.
  5. Confirm the Reset.

2. Use Default Credentials

After a factory reset, the default EWS admin password is usually either:

  • Blank (leave it empty).
  • "admin" (try this if the first option doesn't work).

3. Access EWS

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter the printer's IP address in the address bar (you can find this on the printer's network settings).
  3. Log in using the default credentials.

4. Reconfigure Your Settings

After accessing the EWS, you can set a new password and reconfigure any other settings that were reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
