HP DeskJet 3638 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Community!

I'm quite stuck with my HP DwskJet 3638 printer and I'm asking for some help from HP Support Community after many hours of Google research and troubloshooting.

I've tried to reset my printer many times with the "Cancel" button + Wifi button or Power button + "Cancel" button for exemple. I've been using HP Print and Scan Doctor without success.

To summurize the situation, few months ago, I've changed the admin password my EWS's printer and I don't remember it anymore. In the meantime, my router has been replaced by my IPS and I needed to configure my printer again but during the setup the HP Smart app is asking me to enter the admin password that I don't remember ans so cannot end up my printer's setup. I've tried to reset my printer through the EWS Control Panel but obviously it asking for the admin password.

I've been reading on the Internet that by wiping the printer's NVRam, it would reset the EWS password, but I did not find the way to perform it.

So, my question is: Is there a way to do a printer factory reset in order to wipe the printer's NVRam for a Deskjet 3638 ?

Many thanks by advance for your time.

Kind regards,

@StarLord42
