Thank you for your contribution.
For those reading,
Chrome Flags facility is similar to Firefox about:config -- the editor gives you access to browser settings not found in Options / Advanced.
Example: chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost
Chrome_Flags_Localhost_1

Thanks to all for the helpful responses. I should have got back to this earlier but life goes on and new things grab one's attention.
In any case I have switched to Firefox more or less permanently. If I ever run into this again I will be back to read through all these responses.
Thanks again. Everyone earned an up-vote!

You are welcome.
Firefox is still the "go to" browser for many of us. Smiling.
Happy "browsing"!

For "Correzpond"... the detail you have outlined for Google Chrome works like a dream.
You mentioned that it also works for Firefox but you only submitted the Google Chrome filter. Could you please provide the correct statement for the Firefox filter. (Thanks)
Would you know whether Edge and/or Internet Explorer can be treated with their own filter?
Thank you
