I'm running an HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e. It's the printer/scanner for the entire house. Runs on wifi. My new Mac was purchased in March 2023. Running Ventura 13.4.1. Printer was working OK up until today. Today I applied the latest Apple security patch. When I try to print, I get 'Encryption Credentials expired' and nothing prints. I've tried multiple times the suggested HP solution of generating a new certificate. Doesn't fix it. I've tried multiple times the Apple suggested solution of removing/re-installing the printer. Doesn't fix the issue. (AirPrint or Secure Airprint are not available options for me.) Even though I purchased the printer in 2021, it is now out of warranty (disappointing) with HP. What are my next steps ? Thanks !

Hi @KCHAI1231
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with HP Printer.
This error displays when the Embedded Web Server (EWS) has an expired certificate that is not accepted by the operating system. This certification is necessary to secure connections with AirPrint and Secure Internet Printing Protocol (IPPs). To prevent the error, generate a new self-signed certificate from the EWS:
1.) Using the printer’s IP address, go the EWS page > Networking tab.
2.) Expand Advanced Settings > Certificates > Configure > click on Create a New Self-Signed Certificate
3.) Click on Next and then click on Finish and then close the EWS window.
Here’s an HP document - HP Printers - 'Encryption Credentials Expired' Error Displays (macOS, iOS)
