On the HP website, I entered my printer's serial number and it brought up a different printer.  I triple-checked the serial # number to make sure it was correct.  What do I do to fix this?

The serial numbers are reused, it happens that different printers share the same serial number, which is why you have a printer's part number do determine the exactct model.
