I am trying to print directly on to envelopes from a Word Mail Merge. The size of the envelopes is C6 - 11.4 cm X 16.2 cm but I cannot get the printer to print. Does anyone have any suggestions

This kind of question is nearly impossible to answer without knowing:
Exact Printer model name or the Product Number of your printer model > How to find > Finding your Product Name, Product Number, or Serial Number
- Which Operating System / Version you are running
OK...
In general,
The job setup depends on
- Whether the printer supports the C6 size envelope as a standard - or perhaps as a custom size
- Whether the printer is aware of the paper size / paper type loaded in the tray
Example - Retain / Modify (Edit) / Check Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper Management
Retain_Printing_Preferences_10
AND
The job setup is impacted by
- Whether the Word software you are using recognizes the envelope size - and if it does not, whether it accepts "Custom" size and the dimensions of the envelope
Envelope - Word - Basic setup
Example - Word > Mailings > Envelopes - #10 envelope
