Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi,

i've seen simular topics with this problem and they have got a solution send via private message.

All i can tell is that it takes forever to print something with this print and it has nothing to do with the computer.

The problem is all within the printer itself because when i try to scan and print somthing it took him 18min to do so.

when i try to align the printer it is at the same slow speed. It prints a line, it waits, it prints a line, it waits,...
I checked support and followed all the steps that were suggested. Even factory reset it and installed the latest firmware and drivers.

It has new and original inkt cartridges, it prints fine, its clean and aligned. Just so abnormaly frustratingly slow!!!

Pleas help me because as a high school student is a printer a great cost.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

Hey,

Thanks for your answer.

I performed a semi-fullreset over eight times and unfortunately it did not work either.

I can tell you that canceling a printjob also takes for ever an then it gives me a blank paper but scanning a page from my computer works fine.

Will this mean that my printer is FUBAR or is there any way that you know that i can mess with the hardware to make it work. I have no problem with dismantling the printer.

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Alright I did what you prescribed and if I understand is all what I did now a complete reïnstall of the driver software on my pc.

But thats not the problem, it is within the printer itself. Because if I use it stand alone then the problem still occurs.

The semi-fullreset is not doing anything, there is still something being left behind. Is there a way to reprogram the printer, fresh start, make him think its new???
