Nothing changed that I know of, just stopped printing in color. Color is selected when I go to print. It still copies in color.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much for your help but when I was trying to post my question, I kept getting an error message that I needed to fix some information and try posting again so I thought my question didn't post. So I called Tech Support and I'm not sure what they did since they fixed it remotely, something about changing some drivers?

I have the same problem and the solution works for just a day. I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the full software even if I restart the computer in between reinstallations. It'll print in colour for a while (usually a day) and then the next thing I know, it reverts back to printing in grey scale. Is there a permanent solution so that I don't have to reinstall the software daily?
I apologize if I missed the solution to this problem if it was already solved.

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns
Try uninstalling the printer driver from root level first before installing the full feature software
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions
Keep me posted how it goes 😊
