I've had nothing but trouble printing from my new computer.

Connecting to the printer seemed easy, but it keeps disconnecting and on my latest reconnect it no longer prints in colour and doesn't print true to size. I have the latest drivers.

I'm trying to print onto label sheets so the alignment is important and I can't seem to work out which combination of settings allows me to print on true A4 AND in colour! Is that so much to ask?!

I nailed it earlier this week but then the printer had another hiccup and I had to reinstall.

The computer is controlling printing and the printer prints what the computer tells him to print. The printer is a "stupid" device it prints exactly how a computer sends him a job. The printer doesn't print black and white on its own, the computer settings are set to black and white. You are having computer/driver issues. You have a post and post with windows users having the same problem with the printer offline, not printing in colour.

I didn't call the printer stupid.

I know it should be printing what it's been told to and I know it's most likely to be a driver issue and that's what I'm asking for help with. I have the recommended up to date driver installed and the printer is still not printing what it is being told to.
