Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried almost everything to set up this printer. There was an outage in my neighbor and when it came back on and I powered on my printer, I have not been able to get it back connected to the wifi. As of right now, I have tried everything on both the HP Smart App as well as the Desktop and I have followed all prompts on the virtual assistant as well as the HP Print and Scan Fix. It seems like nothing is able to either find (and/or) connect my printer to the Wifi. I have tried to factory reset it, hide the printer in the app and start over, reset the Wifi System Mode (pulsing purple) and nothing works. I either get an error code ( Error -9) or a try again. The printer pulses blue and blinks amber. The wifi sign is blinking and information sign is lit to orange, both copy signs are illuminated, and it have a lit up "0"on the it. I have restarted the Wifi, Moved the printer closer but nothing helps. Please help!

Make sure your PC, Laptop or smartphone can access the internet thorough the router. If you have a smartphone, connect it through the WI-Fi so you know the Wi-Fi username password is  being accepted.  The router should have indicator lights to show it is working.

I have an Arris modem, yours may be different. This tutorial is helpful. The username might be admin and the password should be printed somewhere on the modem. If not, then use that tutorial. Use a different name for the 2.4 and the 5ghz bands. To keep it simple, use the same password and use only numeric digits such as someone's phone number. When in the router, run the app that finds the channel with the least amount of noise for both bands.

Once you know the WiFi is working try setting the printer back up.  Here is general instructions for HP printer after router fail.

1 - Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer
2 - Wi-Fi connection is lost after router or network settings change

This HP video show setup for 6000e skip to 2:15.  Note the author mentions a 2 hour limit for setup mode and you need to reset if it is not setup in two hours.
