We lost the setup cartridges and the use setup cartridge's error is popping up, help please

As I understand, you're getting an error message while using set up cartridges in your printer. 

 

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

 

Have you tried regular ink cartridges? 

 

Step 1: Make sure the ink cartridges are compatible

Step 2: Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed

Step 3: Clean the electrical contacts

Step 4: Reset the printer

Step 5: Clean the ink cartridge contacts again

Evening 

This printer display ask for the set up cartridges.   I pulled out of the plastic wrapper but not out of the shipping box. 

I can not get to hard reset  and all electronic contact have been cleaned .

It does not allow for any other menu choices
