I have 2 of these printers and I used the setup cartridges unknowingly in the first one I have setup. I have had these for over 2 years and just now going to setup the second but the setup cartridges are long gone. I bought HP 64s for this but it won't initialize. Please help!

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are receiving a "use setup cartridges" error.

 

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the support private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Does anyone have the answer? It is all over this forum but it never is displayed. Only answered by saying a private message was sent. Can I get a private message with instructions??

I literally just took this printer out of the box for the first time so it is brand new. Just already used the cartridges in my other printer. Thanks. Please Help!!
