@89carrera, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy Inspire 7200 printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I’m sorry to hear that your Envy Inspire 7200 stopped printing after the power outage — that can definitely be frustrating. Let’s try a few steps to reset the printer and get it working again:

Restart Your Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds — this allows any residual power to clear out.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Reconnect to Your Computer/Device

  • If the printer says it’s not selected, try removing and re-adding it:
    • On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
    • Remove the printer from the list, then click Add a Printer and follow the prompts to reconnect it.

Reset the Printer Settings

If the issue persists, try a printer reset:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Confirm the reset and allow the printer to restart.

Update Printer Drivers

Sometimes a power outage can affect the drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your Envy Inspire 7200.
  • Install the drivers and restart your computer.

Give these steps a try and let me know how it goes! If you need more help, I’m happy to assist further. 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
