Hello everyone
I bought a new Galaxy Book4 Edge notebook with Snapdragon X Plus and wanted to install my Samsung ML-2160 printer (perfectly working with other PCs) but there was no way.
I tried to download the "Samsung Universal Print Driver for Windows" for W11 from your site first
https://support.hp.com/it-it/drivers/samsung-ml-2160-laser-printer-series/17156959
during installation it recognizes the connected printer, but when installing the driver it returns the error 0x800f0214 The specific path does not contain any applicable device INFs.
I followed your advice read in other posts:
1 - Use Windows Built-in Printer Driver
When prompted for a driver, select Samsung → Samsung Universal Print Driver (or similar), there are only Microsoft drivers.
2 - Manually Install the Driver
Extract the driver package (Samsung Universal Print Driver) using WinRAR or 7-Zip.Find my printer under Other devices → Select Update driver → Browse my computer for drivers → Let me pick from a list of available drivers → Click Have Disk... and browse to the extracted folder → Select the INF file and install, but not installed drivers
3 - Try the HP Universal Print Driver
Download the HP Universal Print Driver (PCL6) for Windows 11 from HP official site
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-universal-print-driver-series-for-windows/model/3271558
but the drivers are not installed because they are not recognized
4 - Use Windows Update to Install the Driver
Windows does not find updated drivers
from all these tests and searches done in other forums, it can be deduced that the drivers found on your site are not compatible with the architecture Arm64 Snapdragon X Plus.
Is there a way to get my printer working again?
Thanks again
Best regards
