Officejet 6500 E710n-z

Firmware Version C1P1FN1621AR

HW Event log:

Repeated entries of B83C2A46 Page: 0

When this happens the operator panel is flashing, LEDs are flashing and the printer is telling me to power it off and back on.

So I do a power-off using the front panel button and power the printer back on.  Some times the error persists, and some times the printer works again (in standby and printing when sent a print job) for some time but the error returns.

This is annoying to say the least.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi @OldBaldGuy,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a "B83C2A46" error on the printer screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
