@hshighuang, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error OW_4XX_OWSWS00001 you're seeing during the setup of your HP LaserJet M110w typically indicates a problem with registering the printer to your HP account via the HP Smart app. This can be caused by network issues, or incomplete setup.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to resolve this issue:

Check Printer Readiness

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and in a ready state.
  • Remove all packing materials (including inside the cartridge area and paper tray).
  • Make sure the Wi-Fi light is blinking (indicating it's in setup mode). If not, restore Wi-Fi setup mode:
    • Press and hold the Wireless button for 10 seconds or until the light starts blinking.

Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer, PC, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Close and reopen the HP Smart app.

Restore Factory Defaults (Optional but Helpful)

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Click your printer > Advanced Settings > log in (use admin as username and the PIN from the printer label).
  • Go to Settings > Restore Defaults.

Re-add the Printer

  • In the HP Smart app, remove the printer:
    • Right-click or long-press the printer name > Forget Printer.
  • Add the printer again using “+ Add Printer”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
