I have reinstalled HP Smart and the drivers and I can't get the printer to work. Printer screen says "Cartridge can't be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink" which it is.

Hi I am having the same issues, I cannot scan my documents.  I can print.   When I select scan on the app, it's asking that I log into my HP account, when I attempt to do so, I get this error and I can not scan my documents.

@2570april, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

Do you get an Error Code: UA_400_EB000U0100 on the HP Smart app?

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

Are you sure that you are using the correct credentials?

Keep me posted.

I have reinstalled the App on my desktop

I am still getting that error when I attempt to scan something.

I have an all in one HP OfficeJet 6970--is that the problem?

The HP Smart app provided me a link to instant ink, seemed helpful.  It was working fine until this week.  I don't scan alot, but when I need to scan a document, getting an error that doesn't seem to have a resolution is maddening.

I am using the only log-in credentials i know of---they are the same as those I use to log into my HP account.   Not aware of any other credentials.

The printer model has nothing to do with the error. Are you using a Win PC?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix scanning'.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Also, refer to - How to scan with an HP printer

Let me know how it goes.
