Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your printer that has an ink system failure error.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.
Please follow the steps below to fix the issue.
A) Perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges
B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.
C) Refer to the steps on this link to further troubleshoot.

Thanks Irwin for your help!
I tried A to D! Nothing helped!
B updating firmware... i did a screenshot. Status msg is "not possible"
Did u recognized my first msg saying this:
BUT if i enter the "blue menu" and do some reset, restart the printer, its fully able to print the status page. No errors.
Turning off and on again, the error msg appear again...
WHY??? Why is it possible that the printer prints this status page. But later turning on and showing the error msg again! So my conclusion is, that the printer head is NOT broken!
Why is the firmware update/downgrade not possible!?!

Hello!
Thanks for the private msg.
I tried again. If i start the printer the "error msg" is active and I can not cancel it. It keeps visible.
I tried to use the hint to enter the support menu with 4x ...
Didnt worked.
I found a way to enter it. I removed one cartrigde. Then it was possible to go to the "home" and then use "4x ...."
I used the semi-full reset and when the printer was reday I tried to do the firmware update. Still not possible.
Its really annoying that its not possible to produce good products which are durable....
Kind regards!
