Due to conflict between software packages I had to uninstall all of my printers and scanners and start reinstalling. The first one I tried to install was the Full Software and Driver Package for my LJ Pro M277dw. During installation the installer returned a code of 1603 while trying to execute:
MSIExec command: /i "C:\HP_Color_LaserJet_Pro_MFP_M277\Setup\Core\SIPM_64\HpTcpMon64.msi" /qn REBOOT=ReallySuppress
Path: <empty>
Return code: 1603
I have confirmed that this path exists, has full System and Admin Full Control, installer was run as Administrator.

Hi @slane6,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Do not worry, I'd be happy to help you!
I see that you are having some issues with installing your Laserjet Pro M277dw Printer on your Windows 10 PC.
To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done:
- In your search bar type in cmd and open the Command Prompt.
- Type in "msiexec /unregister" (no quotes) and press Enter.
- Type in "msiexec /regserver" (no quotes) and press Enter.
- In your search bar type in msconfig and open MS Config.
- Click on the Services tab.
- Click on Hide All by Microsoft.
- Click on Disable All.
- Click on the Start Up tab.
- Click on Disable All.
- Press OK and restart your PC.
- Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
