Error code EBS00P0010

• Hey yall , like many I kept getting  Error Code: EBS00P0010 on the hp smart app set up. The printer name showed, but it was no image, and it said " some features unavailable." I spent hours restarting it, deleting the app and etc. I finally said, " lemme take off my duckduck go VPN" and voila, I was able to get to see my printer's image and ink levels and even got access to the free 9 months instant ink from HP+. So if yall have any kind of VPN, privacy protection on yall phone and or tablet TAKE IT OFF then put it back on after set up. I was able to finally get to the HP+ screen after disabling my VPN for a few minutes . I have Android 14

I was not using a VPN, but I was trying to connect it my  guest WiFi network. I had to use my regular full privileged WiFi network instead.

And of course I tried to contact HP support over chat and their chat support was broken because it's just that bad.

Why can't the error code just say "are you using a restricted network like a VPN or guest?". But no, just give a mysterious error code that you have to lookup on forum that requires you to create a username to view and directly people to broken chat support. great.
