Trying to load the latest version of HP Print and Scan problem and i get the error "Extraction Failed cannot delete output file".
I am not too sure that I ran it twice
Where does HP put the extract files as it does not use Downloads?
Environment is:
Up to date version of Windows home 64 bit
Printer is a Officejet pro 6830 which is irrelevant to this problem

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are unable to in HP print and scan doctor.
If you are using Windows 10 OS, follow these steps:-
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer-related software.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and install HP printer and scan doctor
Here are the steps:

- Windows: Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
- Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
- If your printer is not listed, turn it on and click Retry.
- If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool.
- Depending on the problem, click either Fix Printing or Fix Scanning.
- Test results are displayed with icons
A checkmark means your printer passed.
A wrench means a problem was found and fixed.
An exclamation mark means a test failed and was skipped.
An X means the printer has a problem. Follow the instructions to fix it.
