HP wants me to upgrade the software. The upgrade fails with the error message 536870329

I have the same problem in Windows 10.  The whole error message is "Product: HP ColorLaserJet MFP M278-M281 Basic Device Software -- Error 25056. Call to DriverPackageInstall returned error -536870329 for package 'C:\Program Files\HP\HP ColorLaserJet MFP M278-M281\DriverStore\StanleyV4\hpzead2a4_x64.inf'".

 

I tried to install just the printer driver.  I seems to me the digital signature of the new driver isn't valid.  There are similar cases on this forum but I couldn't find working solution.
