Hello when I try to install my printer on my Mac with macOS Big Sur, I get the error message: "inkjet1.driver will damage your computer". I already deleted everything and reinstalled but I still doesnt work. Also I cant find a driver for my Officejet 4500 Wireless. Does anyone has a fix? Because I need to scan some documents.
Thank you

@felix05, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand your concern. There are 3 models of HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer.
However, there is no printer driver available on the HP Support site for this series of printers to work on macOS 11/10.15. This printer series is not AirPrint compatible too.
However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
Kindly use the HP uninstaller app to remove the software from the MAC as shown in this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
