Solved!
Error

How many times do I have to contact you? You need to hire a programmer (also called coders). I know they are expensive, but the company collapsing is more costly. One reviewer said it took him 12 hours to get his printer to print. I'm not likely as skilled but I'm looking at 24-48 hours to get it to work (the error message is "Error"). One HP support blog said to back up your Microsoft Windows Registry and delete the driver files. Really? Do you have anyone in the company who knows how dangerous messing with the Registry is, that is if you like to use your computer? Probably not. Yes, the drivers and firmware are updated; alignment and Win10 test print successful, computer(s) rebooted and updated. I don't have a computer engineering degree, but I shouldn't have to use a consumer product like this. It is cold where I live now but... waiting for it... crickets. (As I have foreseen it.)

So you are able to print a Windows test page but not a document? What program are you trying to print from?
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.
