Operating System: macOS 26.0 Tahoe

HP wireless printer will no longer work because of Expired Certificate.  How can I fix this?  why does this happen????

I have to get ready for a trip, and instead I spent 2 hours on this. I don't know how I finally got it to work. It makes no sense to have an expiring certificate.
