Hi @LoriB76
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
If you've upgraded to macOS Sequoia (version 15.1) and are encountering compatibility issues with your HP DeskJet 2655 printer, here are some steps you can take to ensure the printer continues to work:
Update Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and search for the latest drivers for the DeskJet 2655. Download and install the drivers compatible with your macOS version.
Remove and Reinstall the Printer:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Remove the DeskJet 2655 from the list by selecting it and clicking the “-” (minus) button.
- Then, click the “+” (plus) button to add the printer back. This may help refresh the connection and apply the correct drivers.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store. This app can help manage your printer settings and updates, making it easier to connect and print.
Check for macOS Updates:
- Sometimes, additional updates to macOS can improve compatibility with printers. Go to System Preferences > Software Update and ensure your macOS is up to date.
Reset Printing System:
- If issues persist, you can reset the printing system by right-clicking (or Control-clicking) in the Printers list in Printers & Scanners and selecting “Reset printing system.” This will remove all printers and settings, so you’ll need to add your printer again afterward.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
-Regards
