Hi - I recently set up a new MacBook Air and a new BT router. However, my old F4500 printer is not connecting to the new router. I have tried a factory reset and run a report. It has hpsetup as the SSID. I have tried connecting through the HP Smart App but it can't locate the printer on WiFi (I can connect via USB). I've tried WPS connection but nothing is working. I have reset the WiFi. Is it possible to set up wireless printing?

@PipH, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
This model printer is not AirPrint compatible and HP Smart compatible.
You will have to use a USB cable or can connect the printer and the MAC wirelessly.
Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the MAC
Make sure you have followed the steps mentioned in this document to connect the printer to the wireless network using the WPS method.
- Make sure the printer and the MAC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the MAC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.
Update the printer firmware

Also, check for any software updates on MAC
