HP F4580
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Computer doesn't see the scanner function of the 3 in 1 printer.

Worked previously without a problem.

Upgraded to Windows 10.   Printer works, can't scan.

Error code as follows:

The scanning software was launched with improper command-line arguments

8 [(-1,0,0)]

I'm not technically minded.  Has anyone come up with a (simple)  fix?  It is very frustrating.

I know I could buy a new 3 in 1 or even a separate scanner,  but why should I?   It worked fine before, I have ink cartridges etc.  Oh  I hate Windows 10.

thanks.

I uninstalled everything I could see related to HP then ran CCleaner.

Took ages but eventually got the printer driver reinstalled.  And the scanner is working now.  Thanks.
