Hello kaybeezee,
Here are general steps you can try.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord.
- Turn on the printer.
Access the Printer Web Interface:
- Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as your printer.
- Enter the printer's IP address into the address bar. You can find the IP address by printing a network configuration page from the printer.
- Once you enter the IP address, you should be prompted for a username and password. Try using the default credentials, which are often "admin" for both the username and password. If this doesn't work, check the printer's documentation for the correct default credentials.
Factory Reset through Web Interface:
- If you can access the web interface, look for an option to reset the printer to factory settings. This is usually found in the settings or administration section.
- After the factory reset, you may need to set up the printer again, including reconfiguring network settings.
Please note that performing a factory reset will erase all customized settings, and you'll need to set up the printer again. If you have important configuration details, make sure to document them before proceeding. Additionally, be cautious about resetting the printer, as it might affect its functionality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
Bernard42.
