Dear HP,
I have a HP LaserJet MFP M28w.
I need to factory reset the printer to default settings because I cannot connect it to the network. When I try to connect the printer to a new network it asks for a printer password which I do not remember.
I have tried resetting the printer by holding down the wifi button for 20 seconds, but this does not work.
Please could you help me with this?
Many thanks,
Mark

I found the solution to this after eventually managing to speak with someone at HP support. Shame that they missed this out of the manual!
To reset the printer you need to:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Hold down a combination of the [˄] up key and [X] cancel key for several seconds until the printer resets.
3. Press the power button.
All the best with it!
