Hi @Attatt,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I’m happy to help you factory reset your HP Laser MFP 135w printer! Let’s also try to understand the issue to see if a factory reset is the best course of action.

  • Are you encountering specific issues, such as printing errors, network connectivity problems, or settings misconfiguration, that have prompted you to reset the printer?
  • Have you already attempted other troubleshooting steps, like restarting the printer or reconfiguring specific settings, without success?
  • Do you need assistance with backing up or reconfiguring settings (e.g., Wi-Fi) after the reset?

You may try the factory reset as mentioned below.

Access the Service Menu:

  • Press and hold the Cancel and Start buttons (or Stop and OK, depending on the model) on the printer’s control panel.
  • While holding these buttons, turn on the printer by pressing the Power button.

Navigate to the Reset Option:

  • When the service menu appears, use the arrow buttons to navigate to Factory Reset or Reset Menu (varies by firmware).
  • Press OK to select it.

Confirm the Reset:

  • Confirm your selection by pressing OK or following on-screen instructions. This will restore all settings to factory defaults.

Reboot the Printer:

  • After the reset, the printer will reboot automatically. If it doesn’t, turn it off manually and restart it.

Reconfigure Settings:

  • After the reset, you’ll need to reconfigure the printer, including network (Wi-Fi) and custom settings, if applicable.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
