Hi,

How can I do a factory reset for my HP 137fnw?

I tried several button combinations while plugging it back in, but nothing works.

Background:

For no reason it doesn't connect to the network anymore. It's standing in the same location, the network hasn't changed. It even sees the network in the list, but won't connect anymore.

Hence I want to do a factory reset.

Thank you.

Hi, thank you for reply and the link.

Unfortunately, my specific printer is not listed there. I checked the instructions for the other MFP printers, but they are not applicable even, since my printer doesn't even have the buttons that are mentioned.

And as explained before, I can't access the printer via the app anymore either, since there is no network connection.

I tried to re-enter the network connection, but it won't connect. It sees the network name in the list, but upon entering the password, nothing happens. Hence I NEED a factory reset.

Again, my printer is HP MFP 137fnw.

Hey @Schruuf,

Thank you for your response

You can try resetting the printer to its factory settings through the EWS (Embedded Web Server) page. Simply connect to the printer via Wi-Fi Direct or Ethernet, and then access the EWS page to perform the reset.
