HP DeskJet 2622 All-in-One Printer

I am locked out of my HP Printer web browser. I have tried to follow the HP support with no luck. I have been trying to fix this for 2 years.

How do I remove, reset, change if I can not get past the user name and password?

ie I have held the cancel and wireless button for 3 sec, then reconnected to my wifi to find the password was not reset.

@Nuny_aBIZZ,

 Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Since you've been locked out of the Embedded Web Server (EWS) of your HP DeskJet 2622 for two years, a full factory reset is the best option. Follow these steps carefully.

Restore Factory Defaults (Reset Network & Settings)

  1. Power On the Printer – Ensure the printer is turned on.
  2. Press and Hold Buttons:
    • Press Cancel (X) + Wireless (📶) buttons together for 5-10 seconds.
    • The printer should blink and restart.
  3. Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:
    • Use HP Smart or WPS (if available) to reconnect.

This resets network settings but might not clear the EWS password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
