Trying to set up wifi for this printer and IT. WILL. NOT. WORK.

Right now the SSID is set to the printer's name and on the printer's network--I did this, probably erroneously, in endless hours of troubleshooting and trying absolutely anything. Now I would like to remove it and try, again, to set it up on my wifi network, but I can't seem to get rid of this setting.

Can anyone recommend a successful method of restoring default settings on this printer? There's an older, locked post with the same title, but it's ... locked, and the recommended fix did not work for me or the original poster.

Many thanks in advance.

Did not address my question.

Already tried these options--all of them, several times.

I did do my due diligence prior to posting to this forum for help.

Already tried this.

Cannot set up wifi without being prompted to remove cable to continue to set up wifi.

Do HP reps read questions at all before responding?
