Is there an intervening firmware updater which would get the 7525 to where the latest updater recognizes it? I'm guessing that whoever set up the latest firmware updater assumed that the 7525 would have a relatively recent firmware version, so it's unable to work with what was the original (or near original) firmware on this printer.
