If you are asking about HP Mobile Fax, the application has been in "Trial Mode" for years.

If that ever changes, you will receive an offer from HP to subscribe.

To date, the HP Mobile Fax Trial status has never happened.

If you are asking about a printer that includes Fax hardware, there is no inherent charge to use the Fax.

• The Fax component on the printer is typically connected to your phone landline.
• You might incur costs for faxing but it won't be from HP -- your phone service might charge you if you Fax "long distance" to a number that is not in your service area.

If your printer includes Fax hardware, your printer's user guide will include an entire chapter on Fax.
