I own a M428FDN model. Can hp please consider providing a feature so that I don’t need a traditional land phone cable for it to send fax, but rather connect to my iphone via WiFi to use it to dial outside?

You don't need a landline telephone to send faxes, and you don't even need a printer to send fax. You can send faxes from your computer or smart device using an HP Smart fax app.

@Valsimot is correct, there are options for sending faxes and HP is unlikely to expend resources on a communication technology that should be unused by now.
