I've seen a lot of posts about WSD, what it is, how it works, but I have not been able to find how exactly to determine what IP address WSD is talking to.
I have 17 printers using WSD ports. I need to know what the IP address is so I can get into the printer, turn off WSD and use IP ports that make much more sense than the WSD junk.
None of these printers are in AD so I can't look them up in AD.
None of these printers resolves to the printer name (I can't just PINT PRINTERNAME) and get a response
Has anyone yet published a tool that will tell me WSD-blahblahwsdsucksbuttholes-blahblahc.6969 is talking to 10.10.10.10?

Hi,
I am not aware of any tool, but you can browse the WSD discovery address and then locate the IP address from the EWS page, or open the EWS page by locating the IP from the printer and disable WSD from there.
From your printer, locate its IP address and browse to it from your web browser, under Network look for WSD or Microsoft Web Services and disable the option.
You may also go from Windows Explorer to Network, then right-click the shown printer and select View Device Webpage.
There, from the EWS page disable WSD for the printer.
You may also verify the printer by using its Serial Number within the Tools tab if you are not sure which printer it is by its IP address.
