Hi @jackie2331,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The security word for accessing the HP Delta Program (often used for advanced printer configuration or firmware updates) is typically associated with HP’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) or HP Admin portal.

Here’s what you need to know:

Where to Find the Security Word

  1. Check the Printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS):
    • Open a web browser and enter your printer’s IP address.
    • Go to Settings > Security > Administrator Settings.
    • If the printer is enrolled in HP Admin or the Delta Program, the security word is usually set during initial configuration.

  2. HP Admin Portal:
    • Sign in at HP Admin.
    • Navigate to Device Management > Security Settings.
    • The security word will be listed or can be reset here.

  3. If You Don’t Know It:
    • You may need to reset the printer’s security settings
      • On the printer: Settings > Restore Defaults > Security Settings.
      • This clears the old security word and lets you set a new one.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

This did NOT help. None of these settings were anywhere NEAR where you said they'd be. I am currently considering simply throwing this piece of trash out the window and getting a Brother.

I hear the frustration—it feels like chasing shadows when settings don’t line up. I’m sorry this has been such a rough experience, and I hope your next setup feels smooth and stress‑free.

Could you elaborate on the issue for better understanding?

Kindly share the serial number in a private message so that we can help you better.

I have done step 1,2 and 3. None have resulted in getting my printers security word. Can you offer another solution. this has caused a major bottle neck.

I'm trying to pair my printer with the HP cloud to enable "scan to email". At the end of the process I'm asked for an "Access Delta Program Security Word".  What is that? Where can I find it? I have searched everywhere.

Scanning to email was working before, but then the printer decided to update its firmware and scanning to email stoppped working.
