Hi @Nancy0205,

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’re setting up a new HP Smart Tank 5000 series printer and need to find the scan alignment page. Let’s go through a few simple steps to locate and complete it.

Print the alignment page from the printer
On the printer control panel, go to Setup or Tools.
Select Printer Maintenance or Align Printhead, then choose Print Alignment Page.

Use HP Smart app to generate the alignment page
Open the HP Smart app on your computer or phone.
Go to Printer Settings > Tools / Advanced Settings > Align Printhead, then print the page.

Locate the printed alignment page
The alignment page prints automatically on plain white paper.
It will have black bars, color blocks, or patterns used for scanning.

Scan the alignment page
Place the printed page face down on the scanner glass, aligned with the corner markings.
Close the scanner lid completely.

Start the alignment scan
On the printer screen or in the HP Smart app, select Scan Alignment Page or Continue.
The printer will scan the page and complete alignment.

Confirm alignment completion
Wait for the printer to show a confirmation message or return to Ready status.
Do not interrupt power or remove the page during scanning.

I hope this helps.
