I have the HP Color LaserJet MFP M577 (B5L46A). I see there are three different firmware updates. All say they support my printer. How do I know which one to use?

Hi,

Many Enterprise and Managed printers have several levels of firmware to choose from: HP FutureSmart 3, HP FutureSmart 4, and HP FutureSmart 5. Depending on the firmware level, the printer control panel display will differ.

Please follow below support document which explains this matter:

Future Smart 5 is the most current firmware and I would recommend you install  that to have the  best user interface options and the most secure printer.. 5.4 was just released on Friday.
