HP LaserJet Pro M102w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently received a new HP M201w printer.  I was able to configure it to connect to my Wi-Fi network, assign it a static IP address and print to the printer.  I noticed that the Firmware was not current, and I downloaded and ran the "HP LaserJet M101 Series Firmware Update 20190718" program.  The program ran to completion.  At that time I clicked on Exit.

Since then, the green light on the printer continues to flash.  The blue wireless light remains off.  I am unable to connect to the router via Wi-Fi or using a USB cable.  Neither the HP Smart utility nor the LaserJet M101-M106 Device Setup & Software programs will recognize that the printer is connected to the computer - even when the USB Cable that I used to originally set up the printer is attached.

I've turned the printer off and back on without effect.  The printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and connected by USB cable to a Windows 10 (64bit) laptop.

How do I reestablish a connection to the printer?

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

We could try an NVRAM Reset. Since these steps are specific to your printer I have sent the steps in a private message

Please check your private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.

Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope

Thank you

Can you please send me the NVRAM reset procedure for an M102w?

Krazy-Toad,

I tried the process you suggested - several times.  It had absolutely no effect.

Thanks anyway,
