My firmware updated now I can’t print with my non HP toner. Can anyone help me with how to downgrade the firmware on MacBook Pro?

Is your printer on the network ?

Do you know how to send files with FTP ?

It is wireless but not networked with any other printers.

Not sure what FTP is.

Do you know printers IP address?

Open your web browser and instead of homepage enter printers IP address and hit Enter to access printers EWS.

I’m sorry if I am repeating myself but my previous messages are not visible to me at this time.

My printer is on a WiFi network but no other printers.

I am not familiar with FTP.

OK, one access to EWS, then what?

Do you have a Windows 10 running computer or you can get one, I can provide you with an older firmware version. That would be the easiest way.

You will need to connect the Win10 computer to the current network, install drivers and run the .exe file.
