For some reason ot couldn't connect to the wifi although I set it up using tha app. The printer got stuck in a loop of booting, trying to download the firmware, failing et. Now it's just rebooting and giving me an error code ed.93.32.84

Hi @Idanki

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the situation—your OfficeJet 8133 is caught in a firmware update loop and showing error code ed.93.32.84. Thank you for sharing the details clearly. Let’s go step by step with recommended actions to bring the printer back to normal operation:

Power Reset

  • Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer while it is on.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).
  • Turn the printer back on.

Reconnect to Wi‑Fi via HP App

  • Open the HP App on your computer or mobile device.
  • Select your printer, then go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings.
  • Run Diagnose & Fix to re‑establish the connection.
  • If prompted, re‑enter your Wi‑Fi credentials.

Manual Firmware Update (USB Method)

  • Download the latest firmware for the OfficeJet 8133 from HP’s official support page:
HP OfficeJet 8133 Firmware and Drivers
  • Save the firmware file to your computer.
  • Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
  • Run the downloaded firmware updater and follow the on‑screen instructions.

Check Printer Status

  • After the update completes, restart the printer.
  • Confirm in the HP App that the printer shows as Online and connected to Wi‑Fi.

By following these steps, the printer should exit the reboot loop and operate normally. If the firmware update completes successfully, the error code will clear.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
