Firmware update will not download

On printer screen Download update fails.

Download the FW update from here: HP OfficeJet 8020/OfficeJet Pro 8020/OfficeJet Pro 8030 All-in-One Printer series Firmware Update 

Operating Systems: macOS 12

First read the information (Expand All).
Recommendation: The installation should be done via a USB connection.

Hi Guys, thank you for your suggestions. I contacted HP and spoke to Ivan who was most helpful @nd we went through everything but then I queried what the existing firmware was and it was up to date so the update couldn’t be downloaded because it wasn’t needed. He tried to change an option to ‘only download updates manually’ rather than ‘automatically’ but that was greyed out, I’m waiting for a reply from him as he is taking it up with the appropriate people. Thanks once again for all your help.
