HP Officejet Pro 8615
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer '
I downloaded the firmware OJP8610_1910A.exe
When I run the OJP8610_1910A.exe
It gives me this line
the serial number : [personal info removed]
Port : USB006
Version :FDP1CN2922AR
State NOT APPLICABLE.
and nothing happens.

I would like to know why I cannot update the firmware.
Would you, please, mind helping me ?

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Itsarinya

Use 7zip to extract firmware .exe file, locate firmware file .ful and save it to a USB drive.
Insert a USB drive with a .ful file to the printer ( bottom left) the printer will recognise firmware and you can run manual firmware upgrade. It's a 5 minute job

Hi,

I would also suggest verifying what is listed within the Current Version column of the HP Firmware Update Utility.

You may also get a Not-Applicable error when the current version is already installed on the printer, and therefore not applicable, such as shown by below example:

Hello Valsimot and ShlomiL

Thank pou ever so much for your replies

@Valsimot
I did what you said.

Winzip gave me
one directory FDP1CN1910AR
and four files :
- HPIMAGE.VFS
- EnterpriseDU.exe
- EnterpriseDU.ini
- EnterpriseDUUI.dll

Under the directory FDP1CN1910AR there are
- EnterpriseDU.ini
- farad_base_pp1_FDP1CN1910AR_nbx_signed.ful

As recommended, I only copied 2 last files on my USB key.this
I inserted the USB key into the printer before putting power on but nothing happens !

Even I copied all files extracted from Winzip on my second USB key and I put it into the printer nothing happens either !

Would you, please, mind telling me what to do next ?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Itsarinya
